AI / ML begins
In 2021, we were amazed with AI / ML and how it might impact work we once did. We also saw everyone’s data go anywhere and everywhere, for the benefit of big tech. We also started to see how much it actually cost, at an enterprise level, to train and use public models and cloud. So we started building our own HPC so we could use models in private.

Starting this business
We purchased our first batch of GPUs in 2025. We wanted to build the most economical and efficient HPC in Australia, to run our own models, and see what we could build. We also started researching energy networks, systems, and heat reuse. In parallel, we see the problems with hyperscalers, datacentres and big tech.
